Co-ordinated archaeological evaluation and mitigation works on a major road scheme affecting prehistoric, Roman and medieval remains, including Iron Age chariot burial: 

 

  • provided advice on managing archaeological risk during successful DBFO tender bid

  • managed archaeological delivery as part of an integrated construction programme through implementation of bespoke design and compliance management system

  • undertook consultations and negotiations with Highways Agency, County Archaeological Services (West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire) and English Heritage on scope of Further Archaeological Works 

  • developed project documentation, including integrated Quality and Health and Safety Plan, as a means of reducing project risks and improving contract compliance and rate of resolution

  • assisted RMS/RMG in the procurement, programming and management of archaeological sub-contractor (Oxford Archaeology)
